I left a voicemail and emailed multiple people regarding problems with my closing. No one bothered to return my call or email. I called in to talk to someone, again, no response. Finally, when my closing payment was late (intentionally) to get someone to return my call, my complaints were heard and appropriate action was taken. Customer service was fantastic when I was applying. Once I locked into a refinance response time to problems dropped dramatically. Consistency would improve service.
It was not clearly communicated to me that I was going to need to show reserves of a certain amount of money. I had to call and ask questions as opposed to getting a phone call to explain why.

Communication and coordination with closing documents was difficult. But after operations manger stepped in, the problem was solved
Between Lloyd and Nick, the service I received could not have been any better. I did have some hiccups because of the restructured website and an automatic application for CARES act which I didn't intend to apply for at the time, I was only trying to research the subject. Because of that, the initial loan was declined but Lloyd was able to rectify the issue with minimal effort on my part. Nick took over the process with a very friendly attitude and threw my application in the fast lane to close!

Our experience with Julian was great. He got the job done. However, our dealings with PennyMac in it's entirety, we don't have the best of experiences.
