Long hold times on the phone. No way to reach my loan processor directly. Incorrect information provided. After various phone calls/emails from Gwendolyn Wheaton to upload specific docs which had already been uploaded, I learned the documentation was uploaded to the incorrect area (there were so many areas, and no clear direction on where to upload). After several emails to confirm my closing location, Gwen still provided the incorrect address/state to the remote notary.

Jason was great about communicating with us however it did seem like there was a long period of time between when we agreed to the loan and when our documents showed up, however my biggest complaint is that on the day of the signing, the signing was delayed by 5 hours because the documents changed without receiving any kind of notification and the mobile notary had to push the documents to completion rather than them being ready.

Communication was not often or clear. I had to keep calling in to see what the status of my loan was and every time I called I was told something different. I also kept getting emails that didn't make sense. The only reason we actually closed was because I called again and was told I was missing a document that no one ever asked me for in an almost 2 month span.

Jason and the PennyMac loan department were awesome thru the entire process, even when my wife's name was spelled wrong on the closing docs they got it fixed right away, Thanks, Bobby Thomas

Couldn’t get ahold of anyone on the team. No one would call me back or answer my questions. Would not put my friends or family through the experiences.

Daniel Vera was absolutely amazing and very patient. He worked with us on multiple homes and finally on the house we bought. Kristen also was very efficient and knowledgeable. I highly recommend PennyMac..
