There were some problems around the appraisal processing. It took me calling PennyMac multiple times to get answers. The final "ok" took a full three weeks after the appraisal was submitted for review. It appeared that there were some flaws in the process and communication was not very good during that time. "Just wait a little longer" is not a very professional answer. I would have expected a more proactive communication process.
Carmelita, was an Angel! I had many many questions, she was patient and always was there to answer them.

This was absolutely the worst experience I have ever dealt with. Pennymac is hard to deal with. I absolutely do not recommend them.
From start to finish feel like I was giving Cricket customer service. The rates were very competitive and and it was honestly the best offer I received. The close was simple and quick.
