Chaix ended strong, but we had a very rocky start. During our first phone call, Chaix told me we would not be able to close on the same day the house we were selling and the house we were buying. I had been assured by my amazing loan officer Jacqueline Srgo this would be fine and is a common practice. Chaix was adamant that it was not possible. Lori was great throughout the loan process. She always answered my calls, even multiple times a day, to answer any questions I had. She was clear in explaining the process and timeframe. Sometimes certain documents were being requested more than once. My experience with Lori was great, and because of working with her, I’d recommend anyone to give PennyMac a shot. PennyMac also competed for my business and offered the best deal out of 3 mortgage lenders.
