Kaitlyn was just awesome, even though I was impatient with her sometimes 😌. Very professional associate and knowledgeable.
I was fairly pleased with Eric Haywood--though I will say that our point of contact changed during the process of our closing with no clear communication that this was happening. It is really frustrating to not be confident that you will be able to reach the person with whom you have been working whenever you call the 800 number. Finally, the most stressful part of all that really soured me on the whole experience with PennyMac was the underwriting. Have ONE person assigned to an application, it is extremely frustrating having to talk to different people every time. Documents got lost in the shuffle and had to be resent several times.

Everything went as expected
I’m glad I refinanced with PM. This is my second consecutive mortgage loan with you. Connor Lori’s was excellent and Janet was diligent.
The process was chaotic from the start, with the processor Madison Brown saying that she "assumed we were going with another lender" when we called to ask about uploading documents to the portal to initiate the approval process. Then the same documents were requested on several occasions, even after they had been previously been submitted. The closing date had to be amended. Needless to say that this was a very stressful ordeal.
