Nothing could make it better unless you fire Paul, Jesika, and Veronica. I had to do all the follow-up calling and it was difficult to get the same person working my loan. Delays (days) waiting for call backs. Seller and I asked for a speedy closing and it was not speedy. My agent had to keep sending the same documents, I had to find the appraisal to send to my agent even with a promise that PennyMac would send to me. Communication wasn’t accurate. Was told I was receiving a wire deposit for my cash out but ended up getting a check. Didn’t know I was getting a check until it came in.

Communication, not being asked to get documents multiple times, lost emails, etc. Day of original closing date, we had no clue where in the process we were or what we were waiting on. I had to reach out for everything if I wanted to know an update.

Initially the process was chaotic. But once Antonae Johnson took over the process, everything went smoothly. Ms. Johnson communicated clearly with me, provided the information that I needed, made it easier to request for information by centralizing to her all the request, and communicated directly to me those request. Great job on the part of Ms Johnson.

Although there were some frustrations over documents that I turned in but then couldn’t be found, everyone was kind and tried to help. I feel it was the system of processing at fault and certainly not my closing agent. She was extremely kind and personable and tried very hard to get things taken care of expediently.
