The process of refinancing was very simple. The portal was very user friendly and easy to upload documents. I like the status update feature, too. It became a little cumbersome to talk to a different member of the loan processing team when I needed to call in. However, they updated the notes so everyone could read my file. I had a few underwriting scares but they assured me they were working diligently to get us to closing. We closed right at the 45 day mark we were told.

I was told documents were not received but actually documents did not have needed info in them. The wording used to request more info was confusing .

Tyra was excellent on her part of service but the other responsibilities of the loan officer was poor. Everything that was asked for me, I provided and sent as soon as possible and when it comes to notifying us regarding a changed in closing not communicated until the notary person called and let us know. Anyway, all I can say is that, Tyra was very good on her job responsibilities . To all loan team, you guys need to be on top of your game and communication is very important.

Not getting requested multiple times for same documents. Additionally have option on the website to upload additional documents that might be needed. I knew I would need to upload some later that I did not get request for right away and couldn't upload them.

Train your or hire knowledgeable loan officers and managers. I feel term were change in advantage of Penny Mac. I was not shown the income to ratio numbers only given %..

not mess up the documents, not take so long to get the process completed, stop contacting me to set up a refi while I was waiting for this one to be completed
