Great experience - entire process was very streamlined.
allowing me to review the closing statement before sitting at the table at the title company would be a start. Sticking me with PMI when I could have paid more down to avoid it was something that totally pisses me off.
It was very frustrating to not get a complete list of the documents required from PennyMac. Grace did an excellent job of communication when the underwriters needed additional documents. Several times we were told we were all set only to have another request for additional documents. Which took us a day or two to get and then a day or two for PennyMac to process every single time. Good service from all involved
This was my first refinancing on my first home. I had no idea what was involved or how the process worked, but I was immediately put at ease and all my questions were answered promptly. At no point did I feel my barrage of questions were annoying or stupid. This extends not only to the refinancing but from day one when PennyMac acquired servicing on my loan, every interaction has been positive and ended with one of those "pleasant conversation" smiles at the end of the call.
