My experience with the refi was awesome! Pennymac didn't miss a beat!
Not sure we ever spoke to Jacob. Send the same documents several times. When everything is under a time constraint, it made the process very stressful.
Better communication. Explain exactly they wanted from us.
Overall communication was lacking. I was only contacted to request the same documents I had already sent to multiple people. Tommy Jackson is a joke and I felt like he just abandoned me through the whole process. I expected him to keep me in the loop and expected him to walk me through the process. As far as Krystal Fuentes goes, she did an ok job keeping me updated even after i wasn’t very friendly to her. She stayed in touch and helped me throughout the whole process.
One issue was that I had trouble throughout the process using the online portal. After I had begun the process, an unrelated PennyMac representative contacted me and we began the process a second time before eventually figuring out that there were two applications. This created some confusion that was wholly unnecessary and avoidable.
