We had a very good experience with the Mac team members.
I was already a Pennymac customer. This was a refi of an existing loan with Pennymac. The proof of my ability to pay was a waste of time and paper. The process should have been easier. Start to finish took 55 days.
The status updates were very helpful.
Not only inform the right hand as to what the left hand is doing, but make the right hand knows there is a left hand. I had to resubmit several documents several times. When I called to speak with someone they would be clueless about the documents in question. I was left to assume they were too d*** lazy to look in the file!
Recommend providing clarification and double checking information. Multiple occasions throughout the process where documents were not updated, incorrect, or explanations provided for delays were not accurate.
