There was a miscommunication between title company and loan processing agent about who should be present at signing who is the person on title. Had to get my husband to be on site for signing last minute. Aida was our processing agent. She keep me update throughout the process by emails and phones; however, she was not courteous when it comes to questions and issues. She was rushed on the phone calls and felt like she just want the process to be over with.
At closings I was told would be 28.34 had to borrow 657.00 shock they didn't tell me that all that I had paid in my house would be use in the closing,savings was 147 new payment showed less ,need to be clear at the beginning , they took august payment after I had closed had to talk customer service hope they got it right.
Unfortunately, PennyMac is just too large and corporatey and computerized and impossible to reach a live person. They do too many loans and there is no personal touch or paying attention to detail. Our loan was actually put on "temporary standby" because one of the MAC loan team thought we said we were not interested. What a nightmare this all was. It took 3 times for someone to actually show up at our home to sign our simple refinance, VA, with the same lender (PennyMac)!

Jasmine and Rick were outstanding throughout the refi/IRRL process. Notary was a bit delayed but that was due to weather limiting bandwidth. Excellent team dynamic, timely, to-the-point combined with simple easy to follow tasks with multiple access points to facilitate requested documents and data. Everything was exceptional, beginning to end. By far the easiest refi we've done.
Emails were not returned
Everything went well except for the portal. The new portal worked fine at first then it didn't work accordingly, which is why I had to email Jordan loan information documents directly, once, twice, three times. Other than, great job!!!
My process seemed slow in the beginning but once I started with Ms. Marquisha everything went great!
