I’m not sure what was happening with your system to keep track accurately where loans are after information is requested. There was a repeat of information requested and that push my loan out to a total of 3 months. I called almost every week to check on the status. Most agents were helpful but just a few that wanted me off the phone. I had a few agents to escalate my info. Elizabet and Maranda were great. I’m an existing customer and thought that would help the process for a refi

Arin and Cammorah and especially Craig were very helpful and did the best they could to make things happen within their ability. However, there were repeated changes to the process at every single step of the PennyMac experience. We have documented evidence for everything. From pre-approval to closing, there were numerous errors made, a lack of communication, lack of follow through and a lack of confidence in even being able to close up until 12pm on closing day.
I would get people asking for repeat documents. I had one of your agents hold my loan because they wanted a home appraisal even though I was told I didn't need one. The worst part of it was when we finally set a closing date pennymac and the title company were not communicating and my closing date had to be reset to another day. The following scheduled closing date again same problem the title company didn't have the papers. Why do I need to threaten to stop the loan process to get it done.
Closing, notary and my employer (verifying) was not up to my liking. I supplied all required information from day one yet verifying my employer was entered wrong and not done before closing which then held up our closing. Notary never showed up first appointment after it was confirmed!! We understand things happen but things were happening in our home with my husbands stage 4 lung cancer and us coming and going from Georgetown hospital. We shouldn’t of had to rearrange our schedule.
The process was simple and easy to understand and follow. Associates were very helpful and nice.
Aida Garcia asked for documents several I’d already sent her several times , continued to ask and failed to respond to requests to acknowledge receipt. Worst of all, she prevented loan from funding after I signed Bc she claimed she didn’t have a recent paystub, though I sent it to her 3 times in the same day she asked for it. She and Kim Stauts responded to requests to fix problem. Spent hours on phone with Mac team to resolve. Terrible experience with Aida. Incompetent service.
Outstanding service by everyone concerned.
Agent was very helpful and courteous, the process was easy
