It took 7 closing appointments to finally close. We even signed all papers on the 6th attempt only to be told later that the papers were wrong and we had to do it all over again. Over all we had closing appointments for a month. And several times were no show at all or were canceled we something wasn’t done with the paperwork or employment checks.
Would have liked to have been told that everything was approved and how much was needed to close. Received call from title company saying they had all closing documents and was ready to close that day however we had no idea what to bring to closing. We were left to.scramble to get amount and get to bank for cashier's check and amount was still not correct.

Easy steps to make this all possible. Have had great service through Pennymac. 2nd refinance as rates have fallen within the last year. Slight mix up on wording for our Trust account but overall great service. If rates drop again significantly, we'll be back.

Blen was an awesome person to work with. It was all the other people that processed loan that messed things up. Ive never seen anything like it Started this process in late January and it just finalized on 6/16
I signed loan documents on May 7, and again on June 11 due to errors made by PennyMac. My loan did not fund until June 22, 2020. I did not receive appropriate communication from my loan agent, I could not reach her directly. I talked to at least 10 PennyMac service representatives. Each time I called, I had to restate my issues, and wait for them to read my file - very inefficient. I also did not receive a $500 incentive bonus promised to me for staying with PennyMac.
John Fayad who began the loan process to our closing representative Jacob Rogers, provided expertise, knowledge, and above all customer service that went above and beyond. Would most certainly recommend others to utilize PennyMac for their mortgage needs. Thank you to both representatives for their expertise and helpfulness. We have closed on many homes, but not through the website. It was a pleasant experience. Thank you.
