HORRIBLE communication the entire loan process. We understand you can sell our loan at anytime. If we could, we would do the same. It was just awful working with Cammorah. Then we had the same experience working with Craig. He gave us his direct number and NEVER answered when we called. The only person who answered our questions immediately was Emerson. He was kind and considerate of our time and extremely professional. The rest of our experience was a total NIGHTMARE!!
The departments do not seem to communicate very well. Also not having a direct phone number to a dedicated associate. The MyMac Team box was frustrating when I needed a now response. Kristen turned my experience much more pleasurable.
The closing costs ended up more than I expected given that a lot of lenders have 0 costs. This is my fault for not asking more questions!
The communication skills of Gwendolyn Wheaton were extremely poor. There were several times during the process I sent emails and they were never responeded to unless I called Jason. Thank goodness for Jason Stevens. He was the only one who responded to my emails in a very timely manner .The experience with Ms. Wheaton was frustrating, confusing and because of her and her team's lack of attention to detail my loan closing took longer than it should have and things are still not 100% complete.

Poor communication and response time. No direct contact to anyone had to go through Mac team and email.. no consistency with information and timeline.. 2nd time refinancing with penny Mac and won’t be doing it again.
My loan officer, John Wilbanks, was extremely helpful. If it wasn’t for John I would have gone somewhere else. Everyone gave me different information even at closing. I wanted to give you a certified check but several people told me that the money needed to be wired. Someone from the escrow agency called me and informed me that my wired funds were never received. I checked my credit union, and the funds were wired on Monday. Finally, the escrow agency called and told me they found the funds.
They were busy, but got it done! Thanks!
