We refi'ed-Pennymac was my lender already so it should be super quick & easy - NOT - it took 7 weeks to close on a refi AND my loan disbursement was DELAYED and nobody told me there were issues! My title was not put through the title co I chose until it was late - emails if returned were not for 2 & 3 days after I emailed - calls not returned for days - never heard back for last 2 weeks from my assigned person, never had answers on questions or ETA - terrible service- no Pennymac Promise here!
The loan refi process kept me informed as needed and as time passed by. I knew what was expected and where the process was at any given moment.
I literally was able to finally close and sign papers on the 4th scheduled close. The 1st 3 times paperwork was wrong. And actually the paperwork corrections needed made between the 1st and 2nd attempt to close were never made at all. On the 3rd attempt to close Tomeka calls me 20 minutes before close to ask how it went. Tomeka is very UNPROFESSIONAL and disorganized. It took almost 4 months instead of the 30-45 days I was told. The problems started before the virus lock down. So no excuse there
Ari'ele Smith had to ask me several times to go over/sign paperwork. I did not get to it right away because I work 14hour shifts, and sometimes several days in a row. Even though she had to ask me several times, she was polite, considerate of my busy schedule, and provided me with the necessary links to read and sign the needed paperwork. I really appreciate Ari'ele's patience with me.
