Friendly, accurate, professional all of the team that I worked with especially under the circumstances of working from home, everything went very smooth, would advise anyone to use them.
The communication was not existent. Gwendolyn made 1 call to me. She was unpleasant and unprofessional. I never heard from Gwendolyn after the initial call. I sent email after email and phone call with no response. As a result I had to go to her management, who provided false promises and he too (Craig Wood) failed to communicate as promised. I was forced to reach out to (Teresa Henry) his VP, she was amazing. She did exactly what needed to be done and it was simply active communication.
The closing process was average. We had questions that were not completely answered by the loan processor. We had requested some copies of official loan documents prior to signing but did not receive them. This caused a delay on signing day. And lastly, we had questions and concerns regarding the title company, but they are still left unanswered until today even a week after closing and after repeated calls to PennyMac and emails. We have not received a return call from Ms. Blen.
Lack of communication with the loan officer. Unable to get in contact loan officer. Never had correct information to relay to us during the process. Wrong information on closing paperwork. Zero confidence the loan was going to be completed correctly.
Accurate information from Vonnie, she was off by $5000 in our out pocket cash to close the loan. I asked her multiple times and multiple times she gave me the wrong information. Even when I received the closing documents I asked her the remaining out of pocket cash and she was off by $5000. It wasn't until we closed escrow that we were surprised by the money I had to wire. I even asked to talk to her supervisor to try to get some help and he was even worse than Vonnie. Incompetent and rude
Loan documents were not with the closing lawyer until 30 minutes into when closing was suppose to be occurring. I sent multiple copies of the same document to Cammorah because she kept telling me she didn't receive them. Tony was great, I would not recommend Cammorah.
Marques Lusk and all those on the Penny Mac Team were great to work with. Professional,helpful, knowledgeable,caring,understanding and compassionate to our needs,requests and questions. They made everything very clear and transparent. I highly recommend Penny Mac for anyone doing a mortgage or a refinance.
