My closing happened a month later than was predicted - due to the lack of attention and accurate processing by PennyMac. It became frustrating and annoying. I was already a customer of PennyMac - "simply" doing a refi. I've never had a problem with the company's SOP but I felt very unimportant receiving the routine emails sent repeatedly. As a customer service professional, what would have made the experience better was accurate personal contact and efficient follow-up. Thank you for asking.
