Upon our initial inquiry with PennyMac, we were told we'd close during the 2nd week of April. Our closing date was effectively changed three times (including from the first estimate). The biggest issue with the delays is that we were NEVER told in advance of the delays without us having to initiate the communication. We found out we weren't closing on the third estimated day the day of closing, and we only found out because I had to call the PennyMac rep to find out what was going on.
I feel like maybe communication could have been a little better. I called a lot to get updates and maybe it would be easier for them to call or send an email every week or so.
