Only had 1 bad issue throughout entire process. Of course the issue is resolved since I got best rate it seems, aside from everything working out. To the issue, I was told my gift would have to be sourced by simply providing a withdrawal & deposit slip from my father. As gift & gift letter were considered, underwriter's needed more, which made situation tense as we could've lost home long story short. Better possible expectations would've been nice as that process was explained very generically.
Had issues with APR rate and loan origination percentage. Had to go back and forth with loan officer
This is our second home loan with PennyMac Loan Service. Since I had always received exceptional service when I called PennyMac with questions or concerns I chose PennyMac for this home loan. I was happy that I did. Selling our home at the same time as purchasing our new home was a very stressful situation. I always felt at ease after speaking with our Loan Officer Layal or Jesse Ramon. After dealing directly with PennyMac you know exactly what is going on with your loan.
I was provided with all the necessary information that gave me the confidence to move forward with the loan process. There was never a time where any of my questions were not addresses. Great service from great people!

no one ask me about taxes and closing information was way out of line with the amount that I had previously paid. I was not asked about this and only found it as I was asked to sign closing estimates. It took a few days and more documents to get this corrected.
I'm happy with the results.
