The Refinance process went as explained. PennyMac's team of experts were conveniently accessible to me. Krystal and Veronica maintained weekly contact with me keeping me informed of the status. De’Loria was very responsive and in touch to check in throughout the process. There was a lack of communication between the closer and the attorneys; documents were requested a few times without response and on closing day there was a lapse in communication and laps in execution from the penny Mac team to execute the transfer. More up front communication between the closing team and the buyers attorney would have prevented the issues we encountered on closing day.
PennyMac did a bate and switch on the initial loan quote they provided me. Had to have a manager looped in. Finally got approval to proceed with loan honoring the initial loan quote.
Very good communication. They always answered my questions and were pleasant to talk to. Very professional loan company. Thanks for an easy refinance!
Overall easy process.
Due to loan officer not being there the process basically had to start all over again which isn't my fault they do not communicate and process accurately. Also, it ended up me closing almost 2weeks later which I never had this problem with the loan officer I been using since day one. Almost every document they request from me was already sent and approved but they stated they don't have it.
