No surprises
Appreciated that these are busy and difficult times but it was impossible to call or contact PennyMac. Emails took many days to be acknowledged and phone calls often just dropped after an hour on hold.
Loan process took way too long, than what i was told. Communication was poor and i constantly had to call to check on the process. Loan documents were sent 10 minutes before closing so i had to reschedule for later that day to close. My husbands name was spelled wrong since the beginnig i told them like 2 months ahead and the day of closing they still spelled it wrong on the papers. They didnt inform me the closing costs had changed. Barbara Bellamy is rude and dont recommend her.
Communication was great, no delays and it was a very smooth and quick experience.

The initial loan officer was responsive and very efficient. Once the loan moved to phase 2 and then closing the customer service and response changed. 3-4 calls with messages left and no call back. Documents were incorrect at closing. During closing I made 4-5 phone calls and could never talk with a person. Attempted to contact the “manager” whose name and number was on the voicemail and that person doesn’t even seem to be at Penny Mac. Sent emails during and after closing with NO RESPONSE.
There were absolutely no issues and Samijo checked in periodically to give updates and just confirm everything was going ok. Even when things were taking time, you never questioned whether or not things were moving forward.
