An excellent experience. Everything went very smoothly and Nicolas kept is informed of the process the entire time.
A lot was assumed as far as tech ability and the loan process. I felt that communication could have been more clear and specific. We were told we would be contacted and in fact, we had to call and ask questions. The website was difficult to log in and getting the list of documents could have been much easier.
Would definitely recommend PennyMac for mortgage or refinance to family and friends. Everything was streamlined and online. Closing was done in the convenience of our own home.
There seemed to be times when something was needed that should have been caught earlier. I also feel that my original interest rate was rather high.

PennyMac was clear, concise and helpful through the process. There were at times the automated systems fell behind but each time there was quick and productive intervention on the part of the staff. Everything was fast and streamlined, with a brief, well earned, pause during the holidays. And we were able to close everything up before years end without difficulty.
The team was great and knowledgeable, cooperative the whole time. Guided us clearly with respect to expectations. Ceista was always available, great service.
The beginning of the process was outstanding, Abigail Wilson was outstanding in her customer service and expectations from us! However, Justen Hunt was unavailable several times when myself and our realtor were trying to reach him. After many attempts to contact Justen Hunt and his supervisor, Ray Maroke, we were only able to close when our closing company contacted PennyMac directly. This loan was as easy as it gets and someone dropped the ball late in the process!
It was an easy process. Everything was explained well and all of my questions were answered. Amanda was wonderful to work with .
