We wanted to purchase a second home. Our loan officer Nathan was patient, took time to explain everything to us line by line and was extremely responsive. He got a price match guarantee at an even lower rate. Our loan processor Carolyn was absolutely incredible. Extremely responsive, she took great care and time EVERY time we spoke to ensure documents were in order. She was thorough and meticulous and the reason we closed on time. A great experience and AMAZING service! Thank you PennyMac!

We kept getting payoff demand statements which seemed to indicate that things were being delayed at your end and it looked like it was getting more and more expensive for us. I didn't feel like I was communicating with a human most of the time. The signing was supposed to happen in November but didn't happen until December. There are things I'm confused about in the papers we signed and the notary said she'd try to get some answers for us, but we haven't heard back from her.

Christine was great. She communicated in an an accurate and timely manner. She helped smooth over any issues and was always on top of my transaction. Every step of the process was met with ambiguous communication and confusion. To get my refinance moving, I had to be aggressively proactive. I had to acquire direct lines to team members and managers. I had to leave voicemails and send emails multiple times. The first notary didn't show up. No calls from Pennymac or the title company. 2nd time around, the notary was missing paperwork. Had to rush and scramble to get the missing paperwork signed. More direct lines of communication are necessary.

It took us 3 months to finally get the loan moving.If Gina Merritt would start moving it .All the paper work on our side PennyMac had.After three months my husband had switched jobs so we had to get that moving.Then on date of closing we sit here and waited for the closer he never showed up so we called him and he tells us our loan was canceled.There again if it wasn’t for Gina the nightmare would of not been over.We finally closed at8:30 that night no dinner.
