The entire process was very smooth. The entire PennyMac team including Jazmin were very professional and knowledgeable.
Quick and efficient
It wasn’t eSy reaching out to Andrea, she only communicated by email without any explanation s when I had questions and called her it was very difficult, I had to wait a day or two. Some documents I needed to scan twice just because she wouldn’t go through all documents I had uploaded. It was easier for me to upload them all together in one PDF file and she didn’t like that. I had to rescanned things for her to mark as received. Very unpleasant process. We closed on time because I kept pushing :(

unclear who to talk to Norice or Earl Nagaran. Earl told me I could contact him directly and that was a hassle as I felt like I was bothering him. After speaking with Earl initially I did not realize I would be paying a 825 dollar appraisal fee which i know most of goes to Penny Mac, I feel my interest rate could have been lower and I would get the same emails from three different people. My refinance process was pretty quick. I received approval for my new loan in a reasonable amount of time, and the process was very smooth. I applied for the loan and closed within six weeks, which really helped me to meet my coming financial need for refinancing. The loan officer, the loan team, and the closer all did a great job, and I'm very happy with this experience.
It appears that the company is a race for sales and not quality service. Since there are so many departments, the departments need to communicate better with each other to ensure once something is communicated with the client it is accurate. If things are moving smoothly in the process, sale agent or loan processer needs to get management involved immediately. Deymian and Asiah was great, the last person I spoke with about the closing had a bit of difficulty communicating and multiple requests for the same documents was a bit off. The overall price experience was great.
