Less confusion among the Pennymac people and better communication to the borrower
Lori was an absolute pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend PENNYMAC for home loan service. They were thorough and on top of everything through the entire process. I would use them again.
I don't want to understate how helpful Sara Almanza was in this process. Refinancing can be a painful miserable experience but honestly, she made it enjoyable. The date I was able to close was longer then normal at no fault to Sara. She was promptly kept me up to date with clear concise information so I was never sitting around wondering pinapple. Anybody would be lucky to have Sara working on their mortgage.
Josie was fantastic! I was however at times quite frustrated with the PM process and with not having individual contact, but just a general phone number for my loan and my processing officer. It lead to much confusion at times that was no fault of the individuals helping me, but the PM process. I strongly recommend that this be changes, I would like to be able to talk directly with "my" person or be able to leave them messages rather than needing to talk with other individuals all the time. 10. Pennymac was very easy to work with.
In communicating with Sharyl on the phone, I felt she was very demeaning- especially when speaking about cash gifts received. She did not review documents that were sent to her, and often requested documents that were already in her possession. She often spoke with me and my husband in ways where we were meant to feel like a bother rather than customers paying thousands of dollars for a service.
