Settlement came much faster than promised which was a pleasant surprise. Theresa kept me updated about every change and made sure that all of my questions were answered. She made resettlement a breeze!

It took way longer than originally stated to get this done. I had a friend that purchased a house and moved in in far less time. I would have expected a more expedited process being that I was an existing customer and also was doing a simple refi.

Communication was overall poor. My emails went unanswered for up to 5 days, multiple requests for the same documents, and requests for documents that had no explanations. Hope I get better communication from penny mac in the future.

The process started out okay. Then, I received a document with a different loan number. I was worried about a breach in security. I understand we are in a pandemic and I was trying to be patient and kind. The first closing did not happened on time because the notary did not show. It was communicated to me that everything would be fine. I could reschedule, have the same closing costs, and everything would be good to go. A new appointment was scheduled with the notary however, the wrong ti
