I was I was very disappointed in how long it took for my closing to actually go through. When my neighbors around me were closing in two to three weeks it took us almost two and a half months. I was a little disappointed in the appraisal of our home. Once again homes in my neighborhood the same size as mine was appraised at almost $30,000 less than what they're appraises came to. The woman that helped me she was excellent. Great customer service . She talked me through the whole application.

Process took much too long. I applied Aug 12 and closed Dec 8 2020 a full 4 months later. Same documents were requested more than once and in some cases the requests were unintelligible. Neither I nor my condo association had any idea what was really needed. Jeffrey Benyo was terrific and he stepped in several times to get the process back on track. The cost of the loan turned out to be greater than I expected -- especially since Pennymac was already the holder of my original mortgage

I started the refi in August and did not close until December. I had three different closing dates and the first one was canceled because PennyMac needed current financial statements. This would have been totally unnecessary if we could have closed earlier. I’d been told all along that everything was going well until it wasn’t. To add insult to injury, nobody even called me to tell me that the closing was off. I worked with several different representatives that after a while I felt no kinship

Given that I closed a mortgage in July of 2020 on a rental home with Wells Fargo in 4 weeks and it was a new purchase, we had expected this to go better. We were lied to by the loan person, they never listened to us and requested documents that made no sense (my pay stubs when I'm on disability) then they changed the requirements after I got mad. Said had I had to pay off a tax bill due in many months, I just said no and started complaining as loud as I could. This is the worst process, ever.

Over all my experience was good. Not hearing from the same team member and having to call for updates was a concern.

I had to redo the process it took about 4months, Kelly was great and Eric too, some of their assistants dropped the ball. The second time through it ran well and Kelly kept me informed.
