Process took much too long. I applied Aug 12 and closed Dec 8 2020 a full 4 months later. Same documents were requested more than once and in some cases the requests were unintelligible. Neither I nor my condo association had any idea what was really needed. Jeffrey Benyo was terrific and he stepped in several times to get the process back on track. The cost of the loan turned out to be greater than I expected -- especially since Pennymac was already the holder of my original mortgage

Over all my experience was good. Not hearing from the same team member and having to call for updates was a concern.

John and Micheal did well. There was a time period for a month where I did not hear from anyone and I was not sure why. In the end it all worked out, and Michael worked hard, but I think the team communication during Covid needs more work

My expedited refinance process was quick and painless. There was a 2 day rescheduling of the closing date, but that was due to the Asset Review department being a day or so behind. Not surprising since so many people are choosing to refinance. This was an answer to prayer! Thanks PennyMac!!!

I’m a previous PennyMac customer and believe they execute such exceptional service I decided to refi with them. Given the extraordinary circumstances we all faced with COVID-19, Nicole L. kept me well informed with the process. Even though the process was lengthy, she assured me everything is in order and was available to answer every question I had. I would strongly encourage anyone that I know to consider PennyMac when looking for a home loan.

Several issues. A direct line of communication. A portal that will accept large documents. My tax documents were 30 pages, and too large for your portal to accept. I was forced to fax at $32.00. It's not the cost....it's the inconvenience. Several documents were requested multiple times. My loan contact person was slow to respond and offered little information. I have multiple other refi's and home purchases recently with other companies, all have gone well but this one with PennyMac.
