The process took over two months. It was a refinance with no appraisal needed. There’s no reason it should take that long.
Every week I got an e-mail saying nothing pending and I found it very irritating. I wish I would have only gotten an e-mail when there was something actually happening and not we are working on it. I would have figured out you were working on it even if I hadn't gotten any e-mails. This process took 3 times longer than I would have thought but I kept hearing because of Covid-19 we are behind and I was sick and tired of hearing things ground to a halt because of it.
I didn’t get timely updates unless I called or left a few emails my signing date was changed several times my cash to close changed also I didn’t close on the time that was projected a fha streamline should have been done faster I also do think I got the lowest that I should have gotten I also wanted to add my son to the deed that didn’t happen even thou at the beginning of the process I explained that it was mandatory my son be on the deed is to much say I only remember what stood out

We wanted no money out of our refinance. I’m not sure why it’s so difficult to recalculate numbers so we didn’t get money back but whatever! Penny Mac was great to work with!
