The service and all the topics were cleared and I am very satisfied with the entire process.
I was told the closing would have taken place a month prior to the closing date I had. The closing costs was also more than I was told was going to be and I had to make an last minute run to the bank to pay the remaining balance that was due while the notary was at my house waiting for my return so I could finish signing. Communication was not good at all and Kyle McTighe has not responded to my emails answering as to why I was having so much miscommunication and trouble in this process.

Erica was certainly friendly and I am not sure whose fault this falls on, but the overall process took 14 weeks which is way too long in my opinion, not to mention I was refinancing with my SAME lender. I’ve had PennyMac for the past 5 years. Also, documents were requested of me 2, and sometimes 3 times which was beyond annoying. Overall, this was a fairly frustrating process.
I had attempted to refinance through Quicken Loan. The experience was slow, confusing and frustrating. It was stalled so many times, that we chose to refinance with PennyMac, who held our first mortgage. The PennyMac team guided us, encouraged us and kept us updated on progress, right up to our signing. Thank you, Molly and your team
