Most of refinance process was fine, but took way too long. Info about ways to provide funds to close loan was not communicated till day before signing, causing us to scramble at last minute to get cashiers check. Notary did not call until day before signing after prompting from us to PennyMac. After scheduling signing appointment, there should have been better communication about exact funds to close & contact information of notary. Also two documents were missed, causing second notary app't.
Our closing did not happen on the day it was supposed to and NOONE contacted us. Michael Johnson answered on a Saturday but nothing still got done. Had to reschedule a month out and my husband lost job funds because of this inconvenience. Also didn't appreciate being told by Sirrena that "you can back out if you're not happy with the process and the closing costs changing." We only continued on with the process because of Michael Johnson and his professionalism from beginning to end. KD Rogers

I'd like to thank Michael Felton and Corey Goldman for helping me with the refinance. They were both very supportive and professional.
The time difference between me and the loan processor where a detriment to the process....3 hours not that great. Closing time was not met the day of closing. Final approval took too long. Penny Mac had all the information early and were waiting for the appraisal to be signed off and it took a week after it was received to close. I believe it should have been sooner as the builder delayed the closing twice.
Beginning to end went well. Easy process, great communication.
My experience with Nick G. was pleasant. He is quick to give an update with his call or email keeping me posted about the loan process. Most important to me was when I felt the whole process was falling apart, he came in and assisted with the process from there till closing. I would say that if you need additional information, make sure you ask.
Timing and accuracy is everything! That's what was given from PennyMac Loan Services.
