From setting up the loan to the final approval of loan, there was lack of communication about the process, change in lock in points rate and lack of response from penny mac’s representatives in a timely fashion. This was a terrible experience.

Before refinancing my mortgage I was prepared to search for the low interest rate, but Pennymac found me the best option for my mortgage. There was no need for me to search online, do a credit check, nor join another company. Thank you Pennymac

I was shopping for a refi and looking for some cash back. Was told by the officer on the phone that we would get almost $1,500 back from our escrow balance - this put us close to what we wanted back, so we stayed with Penny Mac instead of another mortgage company. We only received a $500 escrow check. I emailed my dissatisfaction back on Monday, 5/18 and have yet to receive a call or email back almost a week later.

I did finally get through to Icenia. She is very busy. I know that she worked very hard to get everything accurate and our lawyer to our home for the closing.
