Transaction was smoothly. Great experience.
Having started this refinance process before the COVID-19 lockdowns, I did not know what to expect. Luckily Brittany and Joseph were there to guide me through the madness. Things got a little hairy after the stay at home orders took place and everyone transitioned into working from home. Communication was not straightforward and I did struggle to get responses, but Brittany was there to guide me through the finish line once we got our bearings. The refi closed at the right time for us.
During the start of the covid-19 pandemic when interest rates were at an all time low, it was impossible to get any loan officer to call me or email me back. Mark Mitchell went above and beyond to walk me through the application process. Nichole Littleton took over and made sure our refinance loan got approved. We closed and were funded 8 days ahead of schedule. Thank you for taking us from a 5.25 to a 3.62 interest rate!
Because of Patrick Kirk and Tracy Parker, my experience was wonderful! Both of these folks got to work immediately, knew exactly what to do and worked at an amazing pace. I was shocked that we closed so soon! I was delighted with the entire process thanks to these 2!

Working with PennyMac was very easy from start to finish. I feel like they listened to my needs and I was able to get exactly what I needed. The documents I received were accurate from the 1st contact all the way to closing.

Everything went smoothly and the closing date was actually a month in advance. The only issue was with the closing cash back. It was about four business days after I was told of the day it would be in my checking account and Instead of direct deposit, a wire transfer was done and my bank charged me a $15 dollar wire transfer fee. My bank does not charge for direct deposit only wire transfer fees. Wasn't sure why a wire transfer was used instead of direct deposit.
My closing date was right on time.
