Communication was TERRIBLE. You deal with different “processors” throughout. I was told a credit was approved & found out via email to triple my funds. I had to call and email numerous times over a month. My closing was then scheduled with a higher cash to close & I had to call, multiple times to find out that adntl credit was applied (day of closing). Top it off, my initial closing was cancelled (finding out after they didn’t show) & I had to call back to reschdle with a new cost. Never again.
My only frustration with the process, which has been my 3rd loan with PennyMac, is that I would get an email that I needed documents, I would login to see and nothing new was needed. Plus, the site you login is not extremely clear on what you have provided as it disappears and there is no trace or list that helps keep you aware that the document is provided to you.
Smooth refinance despite being in the midst of this Coronavirus nightmare. Start to finish process was very smooth and easy to navigate ! A shout out to Angey Wu and John Buchanan for their great customer service and communication throughout!!
Given the unforeseen circumstances we are all experiencing at the moment, once I was able to get connected with the loan originators to request a Refinancing on an existing loan the entire process was very smooth. Cheree always wanted to just get the job done and didn’t make an effort to take care of us when a last minute issue arose that had nothing to do with us. Instead of confronting it and helping she ran and hid. Will remember this for a long time and wouldn’t have closed if it wasn’t for myself reaching out multiple times for a resolution.
