From the very first call inquiring about a Refi to closing everything was very smooth. Hector was very thorough and kept in contact and answered the one or two questions I did have.

It all started with my first call, and being helped by Ms. Quintrell Hillard. She was very nice, made it all easy. She broke the entire loan down, from applying thru to closing costs. Next, Ms. Nicole Graham, who requested the paperwork I needed to produce. She was very patient with us. Then came John. Mr. John Buchanan. I don't think I've ever worked with someone through the refinancing process that was as kind as he. Mr. Buchanan put the process over the top. Thanks to PennyMac's great team!

I kept receiving requests for the same documents more than once. I would up load them in the portal then was asked for them again so I started attaching them to my loan officers email. The other issue was I had to send bank statements many times because the balance in the account was less than the cash to close. That irritated me because they were not static accounts so over all this closing process was not a great experience and this was far from my first close.

Better communication. Promised follow up phone calls missed. Multiple phone calls with little to no answers or follow up.
