Great all the way around!
Underwriting took too long and required too many documents. They requested the same documents multiple times and could not understand a private mortgage I had with my mother. They could not see that I paid off PayPal and actually overpaid even though I provided a statement showing that fact. We could have closed much sooner if they didn't have such an issue understanding PayPal. The document portal is pitiful. Once a document is uploaded, there is not way to upload additional documents. From my first call to closing, everyone I spoke with was beyond helpful! Every question was answered promptly and the amount of communication was great! There was not a time that I felt out of the loop. Thank you Brittany, Michelle, and all of the Pennymac team for an awesome experience!
Everything was great
Had they been clearer on what documents needed to be signed and when as well as communicating back to me when I emailed would have made it for a smoother experience. We had to reschedule closing due to them not communicating properly or at all! Was told we were good to go then the day after closing the first time I get a phone call saying we have to reschedule! Couldn’t have called the day of? Sent an email in the morning? Anything but waiting a full day after and not responding to multiple emails!
