Not very clear at explaining what and how this all would work, I was told one thing at the beginning, then later on changed and so on. The whole idea of refinancing was because I was late with monthly payments. I was hesitant to refinance just yet because I had just consolidated my credit cards and my credit wasn't too good, but Pennymac said it was good to go. Faster closing process. Justin was very communicative but the paperwork showed up at closing wrong and it took several days to correct.

My main issue is with Billy Manapat. He under quoted by ~600 dollars and I had to pay a 25 dollar wire fee. He assured me that there was to be no money needed to close , yet there was. I do not feel like I can trust him and the 25 dollar wire fee is absurd. If this was communicated better I would not have an issue. If Pennymac could grant me a 25 dollar visa gift card to assist with the wire fee this would greatly assist.
A better experience could have been obtained by having the loan agent, Joseph Kirleis, or any other agent I may have spoken to when asked, provide me with documents in a timely manner. There were multiple times in which documentation was requested but no forms were provided to be filled out. Then when I attempted to call I would never get my loan agent on the phone, I would have to wait until the following Monday when he would call me to say "everything is going great" and I would let him know that I need paperwork and I wou... read more
