Not very clear at explaining what and how this all would work, I was told one thing at the beginning, then later on changed and so on. The whole idea of refinancing was because I was late with monthly payments. I was hesitant to refinance just yet because I had just consolidated my credit cards and my credit wasn't too good, but Pennymac said it was good to go. Joe was one of about 6 that this rating relates to. 5 others had said they were the point person and would communicate with me on a regular basis. They didn't but after a shaky start, Joe did. The underwriter Jacob Powell was professional and very thorough. I would recommend having a decision tree with names, responsibilities, and contact info for those I would work with. For the most part the process went ok closing was at first a little shaky but the gentleman that did the closing was very good
