Once I finally got through on the phone line, the process was great and took less than one month. I was frustrated that you kept sending me emails to refinance and then it was impossible to get to a human being.

Hello. #1 I felt that I was told initially that the closing cost would be zero. I did not write down my initial loan processors name. #2 docs were not ready because a mistake was found. For that I am happy about. #3 new signing day was set and the notary was not in possession of the new docs; and the notary company DID NOT CALL ME TO INFORM ME. Bad business!!

Positives: ease of application, convenience of the travel notary, interest rate, no request for documents for my refi, online correspondence using e-sign Negatives: delay or no direct response to my inquiries about the closing time appointment and status of documents to close; my name being misspelled on my return escrow check

Monica was FANTASTIC! I wish I could give her a higher rating. She responded to all my call and was able to answer all of my questions. She did a great job. Honestly if it wasn’t for her, I would of cancelled and went somewhere else. This was my second try at refinancing through penny Mac, the first one didn’t go through and was cancelled by penny Mac for some reason. I still don’t know why it was. Mona was absolutely great. I asked A LOT of questions and she was able to answer them all for me
