Multiple questions to My MAC Team went unanswered. Closing documents were inaccurate. Notary at closing was dismissive and unprofessional. I regret this process.
It was simple and easy to do. We closed only two an a half weeks after the initial applications. The notary came to our house for closing. Overall it was a great experience. I never thought refinancing would be easier than buying the house. Saved $400 a month which is almost unheard of.
Deion Smith is a professional in every sense of the word. He is very experienced and knowledgeable. He answered all of our questions and addressed all of our concerns in a timely manner. I highly recommend any Pennymac customer to explore Pennymac refinance options before jumping ship to another mortgage company just because they verbally offer you an incredible rate. Deion values his clients and will work with you every step of the way! My wife and I are blessed to have him in our corner.
Nathan Hoffman is a gem. He and Jason made this the most unbelievably easy experience. The loan process executed according to plan and happened earlier than expected. Nathan was incredibly helpful, supportive and answered my 100 calls and questions. This was the easiest loan experience I have ever had. I wouldn't think about going any where else for a mortgage loan.
My experience completing a loan refinance with PennyMac was great. Got great advice & help on what type refinance would benefit me most. After the process started, everything was completed via email and electronic documents, which I love since I am busy. Final closure also went smoothly.
we were told we would not be making a september payment. we were never told we needed to do anything to stop our auto pay. we signed all the documents with a notary on the 7th. i was never told we would be paying anything out of pocket by the loan officer until a day or two before we had to write a check. i was originally told it would be $450. when the notary arrived i was told it was $522. APPARENTLY THERE IS NOT ENOUGH SPACE TO TELL YOU ALL THE PROBLEMS I HAVE HAD.
The loan officer was great and set up weekly reminders to check in, even when there wasn’t much of an update. I felt like they were staying on top of it and thoroughly communicating throughout the process.
