My negative review is not directed towards Mr. Hagan (closing agent). He was helpful and answered my questions promptly when needed. I completed this survey based on prior experience to working with him. I thought the length of the process was completely unacceptable and there were weeks that went by idly without anything being done when there were things that needed to be done by PennyMac. I will not ever use PennyMac again in the future and I will advise anyone to avoid your company.

Better communication between initial local loan officer and home loan specialist in Missouri, as well as better communication between home loan specialist and legal department in Florida.
Our VA IRRL refinance was a quick and flawless process. Each representative along the way were very professional.
Refi was started by me. Looked at Quicken but very bad reviews. Since Pennymac handled our first loan went this way. Have been paying and extra $200 a month toward principle for a 30 year at a higher rate. Now paying same overall amount for 15 year and will save $15000 over the period of the loan. Was quick and easy.
Scott and Nathan were professional gave concise directions and stayed in communication thru the whole process. Highly recommend Pennymac!!
Everything went smoothly, even when the representative I started the process with was no longer with the company. The email and portal communications were very helpful as I am unavailable for phone calls a large portion of the day.
