My loan was started by one person then handed off many times. I don't feel the person that took the orginal app. asked questions that would have helped me regarding fees exc... Also my loan person that I started with was either fired or quit.And my loan got ignored. I do like that I always pay the same company, it doesn't change.
Penny Mac did a great job of communicating with us all along the process. We received a very low rate with minimal fees.
Had to complete 2 additional forms before we could close. Outside of that everything else went well.6
Called PennyMac to see if I could get a lower interest rate on my VA loan. Got a call ack within a few minutes and found out I could indeed get a better rate. Started loan application then and it did not take long before I was just awaiting approval. After approval, working with the mac team was easy and in no time the notary was at my door to close. Best refinance I have ever done. Saved the most money also, which was the whole point. I would highly recommend PennyMac.

Here are my criticisms: 1. The "down to the wire" not getting prepared was poorly executed. The underwriting team should not have had questions about the borrower 3 days before closing date when they had 3 weeks. On Monday before Thursdays close there were three separate queries. It was excessive. 2. As an existing PennyMac customer the process should be easier. 3. Mistakes on documents. I shouldn't have to do document prep/review. 4. Multiple links for docs. Sign vs uploads etc

My closing representative, Drew Scmleling, was great to work with and made sure that I was informed throughout the process of refinancing my home. On a scale of 1 to 10, I rate the service that I’ve received at a 12! On all around pleasant and seamless experience!!!
Everything thing was just as it was explained. My loan officer, Chris Franklin, was friendly, knowledgeable and a general pleasure to work with. Great job!
