Communication within PennyMac is lacking and portal system never seems to send the documents to the right person. We started the process 45 days prior to closing and only was able to close on time when we escalated the communication issues to upper management.
It was an easy process and everyone was friendly and informative.
Communication, Communication, Communication. Definitely, I expect to have answers of my questions asked via email, or voice message several times. Unfortunately, no answers were available until the day of closing or transferring the fund. This was worst possible experience.

Process was easy. Only had one hiccup during closing but PennyMac corrected it.
Quick, easy and painless. The only hiccup was the notary from the title company did not communicate well.
Everything was simple, very well explained, and everything was completed exactly as I was told it would. No surprises, and no confusion - as easy as could be!
My questions were answered in a professional way.
Had the pleasure of working with Tabitha and Andrew (Drew) and others during the re-finance process. I had an issue with the closing numbers and this was corrected immediately. Great follow-up and communication by Pennymac. Also, impressed with the 'traveling Notary' which made the closing convenient. Tabitha and Drew are consummate professionals and wouldn't hesitate to work with them and Pennymac again!
