When I decided to refinance, I contacted PennyMac and the process could not have been any easier. The representatives I spoke with helped me through the application and processing steps and my loan was closed in a very short period of time. Prompt responses from loan originator Jelani Keller would have been appreciated. Nick Batten did the best he could under the circumstances. PennyMac needs to remember that you live and breathe mortgages and refinances, while most of us do this a few times in our lives. Be better at explaining the numbers.
I had some questions for Monisha Gleghorn and never got a response from her. had to relie on others.

This was all done fairly well but the level of care wasn't what I expected. I only heard from Sara once with no additional follow up. We asked twice for a re-eval of the interest rate with no movement. Just seemed as of PennyMac considered this a done deal and didn't have to really work for our business. One of the only reasons we closed with you guys was because we we were able to get the rate we wanted. Had another company provided the same rate we would have strongly considered leaving.
If our representative had returned our call to answer a few last minute questions which we had.
Everything went smoothly, and as expected.
