Smooth and not complicated
Drew did a great job of communicating with me despite being put in a difficult position. My subordination took way/way longer than it should have...not his fault. On top of that, some of the requirements that P-Mac had for my specific escrow situation were made challenging by folks clearly above Drew's level. He did his best to try to remedy the situation but was constrained by requirements of his management; it was ultimately resolved. Drew kept a calm demeanor even when I sometimes didn't.
The process to refinance was easy and everything was explained completely. We were updated on where we were in the process frequently. Overall Penny MAC has been everything we could hope.
Liked the portal to upload documents, however the portal was not good at updating any kind of timeline or current status.
All the Penny Mac representatives we had the pleasure to work with were very cordial and professional. We feel like the service we received was first rate. Thank You!

Prompt responses from loan originator Jelani Keller would have been appreciated. Nick Batten did the best he could under the circumstances. PennyMac needs to remember that you live and breathe mortgages and refinances, while most of us do this a few times in our lives. Be better at explaining the numbers.
