Because they took their time with me and was very patient and made sure I was satisfied with everything that was on the loan application
The first loan officer that I dealt with did not stay on top of emails and documents that I sent. He was aware of our time line and failed to push the loan through. Had to email docs 3 times. When Sara came on boars things progresses quickly. However, we were told that our funds would be wired as we were out of the country. The funds were not wired and all checks sent to our home. They have sat for a week, and now we have to make extra payments bc I will not be able to get them mailed in time.
After an online lender changed the terms during loan processing, I decided to check interest rates with my present lender, PennyMac. The rates had become very competitive. Carlton Blood and my MAC team all did a great job. The only trouble I encountered was with several uncompleted open applications that I mistakenly started on the website. I couldn't seem to clear them and as a result, got a few unwanted calls from people trying to land the business.
The process was confusing when Dennis took over from Julie, when I attempting to call, or leave a message, no return call,. Dennis was very hard to understand, he didn't seem to understand my questions. I really believe a much better PR and customer service on refinancing could be improved. We've been with Pennymac several years and always got excellent service with the support. Hope this helps you improve.
Everything was good
Professional, accurate, and a partner that wanted this to go smoothly. Its a business but being treated as a valued partner was important. Penny Mac was already my mortgage holder and i had plenty of other options if i wanted to refinance at a lower rate. I chose Penny Mac because they supported me.
Quick, great email communication, everything presented was accurate. The whole team was a pleasure.
