In the past I would have recommended this facility to anyone with a pet as I have spent thousands of dollars boarding my 9 year old Labrador here since moving to the area. But I do not recommend the New Day vet, their staff or Dr. Borkowski. This past week I noticed 2 new lumps/masses on my dog and immediately made an appt for 4:30pm today. I had all three of my dogs here for almost two weeks. Two of my dogs they did not feed accordingly with medications and two dogs dropped weight. They even returned their uneaten food swearing they fed them both of my little dogs lost weight. Misty the manager swore they were fed my dogs will never return to this place. And by the way not all pet paradise is like this I I used sarasota for years and loved them just be aware of this one.

Don't use their vet servicesservices! They gave my dogs meds with the same ingredient as a prior med they knew caused a severe reaction and claim no responsibility for both dogs now suffering for months. They pretend to be sympathetic while lying about what can only be seen as poisoning. They knew the ingredients and didn't think it would be an issue when it's their job to know. Although my dogs love PetParadise, for this "airport location" to not be 24 hours is absolutely ridiculous. I understand that they changed to normal business hours because of COVID reasons, but to be quite frank, COVID is spreadable in the nighttime as well, so there is no reason to change from 24 hours especially for an airport location. My flight got in 1 hour early and we had set a "pickup time" at 8pm. Don't be fooled by 'airport location'. they don't operate like an airport location. I had an appointment for early dropoff to make an early flight. I showed up as scheduled and the door was locked, a note saying to not ring the doorbell nor knock on the door. Nobody answers the phone before business hours. luckily I found employees in the back parking lot. they were not happy about taking my dog before they opened, but they did. coming home, my flight was delayed an hour so I called to arrange a 20 minute late pickup. We have used the Boarding side of Pet Paradise at this location and recommend. They also have a vet service that has the yearly plan. The vet believes if the dog, in my case, is in fear of being treated then they refuse service for that day and recommend drugs or sedation. If you disagree, and have overpaid on your subscription then there is no refund. If you have underpaid then they will seek payment. Basically beware that you are at the mercy of the vet when it comes to your payment plan.

My dog will never be back!!!!! When my husband went to pick up our dog and saw his wounds, he asked what happened... and no one had any idea!!! They said he may have gotten into a fight in the yard without us seeing! WTF??? I pay a lot of money for my dog to be in their care. They didn't see a fight or even notice his wounds when putting him back in his room... or when bringing him out to go home. They obviously pay no attention to the pets in their care!

DO NOT BOARD YOUR PETS. My cat came back from a 5 day stay starved and sick. I understand that cats can be difficult when eating and I'm sure an unfamiliar environment does not help. I could tell he was very malnourished and congested. He showed no signs of any sickness before I dropped him off at Pet Paradise. He continued to not eat and his symptoms worsened upon bringing him home from the kennel. So, I took him to the vet and they said he contracted a parasite from the kennel. Please do not leave your babies here!!!! The employees here treat this like any other hourly job. It's incredibly disheartening when you pick up your dog with an injury and they cannot tell you how it happened. This wasn't just any kind of injury - this was them rushing my dog to the emergency room, and yet cannot tell me HOW it happened- but they insist they keep a good eye on the dogs.
