While driving across the US to relocate to the area, my beloved rescue dog became listless. By Nevada, he developed a large lump behind his ear and his ear flap was extremely swollen. My cat, Casey, has had inflamed bowels for several years. Until lately it was under control with the help from steroids. About a week ago, Casey suddenly started having diarrhea, lost weight and stopped eating. Usually, she takes her meds without issue using Pill Pockets, but she refused to eat those as well. Awesome staff. We brought our 9 week old Shiba Inu in because he had blood in his stool and they were able to give us a TON of information. More than we were able to soak in at one sitting but when we left they had a whole folder of everything we needed to know prepared. They were all knowledgeable and genuinely kind. They even squeezed me in last minute despite not having availability on their calendar until the following week because they didn't want me to worry all weekend about him. My dog was coming off major spinal surgery and I was a little upset about some of the previous care she rec'd at another vet. A friend highly recommend Pet's Friend to me (he has taken 3 of his dogs here) and since I value his opinion I thought I would check them out. I wanted to try a new vet because I felt VCA lawrence was overcharging, not consistent with info given by different people there, and just trying to sell you extras. Found this place on yelp and took my old guy charlie the lab for an exam and look at a growth under his tongue. Dr miller was very nice, explained everything and really checked my boy out. Dr. Allison Moore was awesome, as was the rest of the staff. I was worried that my cat had developed asthma since he had recently started wheezing and coughing. I had never been to this clinic, but when I described the issue during my call, they made time for us to come in within a couple hours. I found out later we were scheduled during Dr. Moore's lunch break. She was sweet with us humans and my cat loved her. We are new to the area and my beautiful mini schnauzer got really sick! She was a senior dog and very much loved! I knew she has had her best days in the past. Dr Allison Moore was amazing. We cannot tell you how much we love Pet's Friend. We have been customers for nearly 10 years. Our dear dog Max had a lot of issues, starting with severe allergies and eventually, osteosarcoma. For his allergies, we had seen several doctors, including specialists and nothing worked.
