I dropped off my dog to have blood work done for the TITER test (sent out to a lab in Kansas) before we can fly international. This test is $400 alone through Pet's Friend. This does not include the pet exam fee. It's an expensive test and another Vet I called charges $450 plus exam fee so I thought this was a better option being closer to work and all. After a horrible experience at Banfield in Campbell I came here because my father took our cats here and the yelp reviews are great! Let me first off start by saying that I have a super friendly dog, he was on the the floor with the vet (Dr. Koski) getting bunches of love from her. About five years ago I switched vets after a series of seriously bad blunders at the VCA. A neighbor recommended Pet's Friend and I went since they were close and seemed friendly. Over the years I've seen different vets here and they all seemed competent and compassionate and I've been four-star happy. Like - satisfied customer, but no reason to rave. Pet's Friend is a wonderful veterinary clinic, with knowledgable staff who are friendly and professional. I take my dog and my cat to them, and I am always pleased with the care we receive, from the front desk, the nurses, and the doctors. They are a one-stop shop with veterinary care, grooming, boarding, and there's even a dog-training facility next-door with whom they are affiliated. I highly recommend them for all your animal care needs.
These guys ROCK! When a good friend of mine was hospitalized recently, I was asked to find a place to board her six (!!) dogs that day. One of which is a fear biter. Uh... My dog has been a patient at Pet's friend for six years. My dog is a frequent visitor due to some chronic but minor conditions, so I've gotten to know the place pretty well. All of the vets we've seen are friendly, informative, and open to answering my millions of questions. The staff is equally friendly. The thing I like best about Pet's Friend is that it has a small town vet's office feel, rather than a corporate mega-clininc feel. I stumbled upon Pet's Friend when I lived in the area and it was walking distance from my apartment. I now live over a half-hour away and still go see the incredibly friendly staff at Pet's Friend for both of our dogs because I like them so much. Dr. Davidson is incredibly passionate and every visit seems more like we're going to see our friends that just happen to be very knowledgeable about dogs. Pet's Friend is a great vet. I have been bringing my various dogs and cats there for about 7 years or so (I think). Dr. Miller and the staff are knowledgeable and provide what I think are the best care options for my 2 cats and 2 dogs, including my crazy Australian Cattle Dog. They make veterinary visits a breeze. I brought my Lhasa Apso/Maltese her since she was 3 months and they always do a great job. Since we have insurance, I pre-filled my information and had them do the rest (fill out the paperwork and fax it to my insurance with a copy sent to me). How much easier can it get?
