I have been bringing my pets here for eternity. Dr. Miller and her fellow doctors and her entire staff are absolutely wonderful. They have been there for me through regular checkups, severe illnesses and final moments. Every visit contains laughter and good stories which makes a trip to the vet far more pleasurable.........for me at least. Can't speak for my pets! Over the years I have referred many people to Pet's Friend and they are all happy campers as a result. Can't say enough about the entire Pet's Friend entity!

I have an older dog, and he is my best buddy! Only the best for my bud! Drs Santiago and Davidson (and all of the staff) have been so wonderful to him. They're also great at putting anxious dog owners (like me) at ease. I think the prices are reasonable, and they have an online refill system so you can have medicine shipped to your home.

I have been coming to this clinic since I was 8 weeks old. I love the friendly faces and the knowledgeable veterinarians. When my mom says "Let's go" I get really excited and start looking for an outfit to wear and my harness. I eagerly jump into my car seat and get clipped into my seat belt. I have a an intact , male, 6 year old rottweiler. He hates doctors, he can smell medicine 10 miles away and he is not fond of human race in general. With that said, the Pet's Friend Animal Clinic manages to accommodate us every year and to check every single part of his body inside and out THOROUGHLY without tranquilizing him! I have always had excellent service here for my cats. They are very information and helpful every time I visit. The office and rooms are very clean. I've been to other vets and they aren't as personable with the animals or me. Once, I had a serious issue with my cats. Called in the emergency call that I needed assistance right away, and the gal came out to my car the minute I pulled up to park and grabbed my cat carrier with my cat and rushed him inside. I'm really surprised by some of the negative reviews here, but I guess it's impossible to please everyone. I have been coming to Pet's Friend for about 10yrs. I have to say they have been AWESOME!! They truly care about people's pets. They have treated my dogs like their own. Thanks Pet's Friend for your compassion and friendliness.

This has been the vet of choice for my family's pets for many years and my mom still keeps in touch with the original owner, Dr. G. . When he sold his practice he went out of his way to find buyers that truly cared about animals as much as he did. My dog actually gets excited when she walks in the door because the staff is so warm and friendly, and this is even after she had to have surgery to remove bladder stones. I'm new to the area and found Pet's Friend through Yelp. I took my cat in for a check up and to get his shots and everything went well, the staff was great. Fast forward two weeks later and my cat decided to eat a hair tie. I could tell something was up so I took him back to Pet's Friend. He had to have surgery and now needs someone to watch him 24/7 for the next two weeks. I've been taking him to Pet's Friend every day for 'daycare' so they can watch him while I'm at work. My puggle's gums were bleeding for a couple of days and it was really hard for her to eat. Our old vet who was located in Palo Alto relocated to Castro Valley, but highly recommended Dr. Davis as a vet who would take care of Bella. She was awesome. She spent a good 20 minutes on the phone with us to ask questions prior to us going into the clinic.
