My friends and I came earlier yesterday. We had the fried chicken and some great pies. From the pecan pie to the banana cream, it filled our stomachs with warmth and love. The service was wonderful, our waitress was very patient and sweet. The ambiance felt like a small southern home full of good smells and great eats. We'd definitely come back here again!!!

Pies 'n' Thighs has been on my list forever, and I finally made it. Overall? Good, but not mind-blowing. The fried chicken is solid, crispy, juicy, and well-seasoned, but it didn't stand out as "the best fried chicken ever." It's more of a comfort-food classic than a destination plate. I finally tried the chicken & waffles at Pies 'n' Thighs! The fried chicken was crispy on the outside, juicy inside, and not overly greasy, it feels like true Southern comfort food. The waffle was fluffy and buttery, the perfect base to soak up the syrup (and they even had a blueberry topping option that added a nice touch). The food here is oh my gosh so good if you're in New York and you're craving some southern food this is the spot to go. I always make it my business to take a trip to Brooklyn so I can have Pies n Thighs. It's a small restaurant, but please go there with a big appetite because they're gonna feed you. I do recommend making a reservation.

(3.5 out of 5 stars) I've been hearing about Pies 'n' Thighs for a while and finally gave it a shot through Uber Eats. The experience was a mix of great and just okay. Fried Chicken - Big win here. Super juicy and flavorful with a nice crispy crust. The drumsticks were HUGE--seriously, almost turkey leg-sized. A bit much for me, but still delicious. Cornbread - Loved it. Sweet, soft, and moist. I had the coconut lime donut, which was packed with flavor and had just the right amount of crisp on top. However, the center was dense and dry, so it was literally a little hard to swallow. Unfortunately, the whole dining experience was lacking. First, someone in the dining room was blasting their phone out loud without speakers, which made me not want to sit inside.
